Cupar Plant Sale is a massive success
Our Parent Ambassador Sylvia Wilson held her annual plant sale in memory of her daughter Jennifer in Cupar last weekend to raise funds for It’s good 2 give.
What a fantastic day it was. The sun was shining, the weather was warm and so many people came along to buy flowers and plants and support our charity.
We would like to thank Elaine Brailsford from Tesco who organised the car park, boxes and helped unloading too, Gwyneth and Colin Miller, and Isabel Hill for helping in advance, Alan, Val and Karen Cairns for loading the van and ferrying plants there and back, Lenna Law who supplied some plants and stayed all day to help, and Jenni helping set up along with April Sheldrick who also helped in advance supplying and potting up many plants and helping through the day. Thank you also to Chris, Christy and Joanne Wilson (Sylvia’s Husband and children) , Moira and Chipper McCann, Gaye Steele and Carol Panetta, and our own Lynne, and young ambassadors Tabby, Grace, Harry and Eden who all helped make the day happen. And last but not least of course, Sylvia, for all her hard work in preparation for this event, and on the day.
The event raised over £1700 for our charity to help us support young cancer patients and their families across Scotland.
We are looking forward to next year’s event already. Have a look at the images below of how amazing the day was!
