Nurses at the Glasgow Royal Hospital for Children.

It’s been a strange time for everyone recently and a busy one for us with life changing so much for so many of the families we support.

Over the last two month we have been able to provide the following to help them thanks to the support of our volunteers and your donations:

  • 40 families with a large selection of toys, games and puzzles, books, plus baking, sewing and craft kits.

  • £500 of Sainsburys vouchers and a supply of sweets and treats for the Oncology and Haematology Ward in Glasgow Royal Hospital for Children.

  • 84 families have also been gifted £100 vouchers to use in local supermarkets to help with food shopping.

  • 46 nurses in Ward 2 at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh a pamper kit each as a thanks for the work that they are doing.

  • £500 of £5 vouchers to allow parents to purchase their own snacks at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh.

  • An online cookery lesson from Masterchef finalist Jilly McCord for one young cooking fan - thank you Jilly!

  • 2 vein finder devices for Ward 2 at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh – these devices make a huge difference to the experience of finding a vein to put a needle in for patients, parents and staff at a cost of £11000.

  • 50 ripple retreat colouring books, pencils to the Oncology and Haematology Ward in Glasgow Royal Hospital for Children.

Our team are working hard every day to support families and find other ways to help. If you would have any suggestions or would like to help we would love to hear from you
