Our Young Ambassadors play a huge role in our charity and get involved in many of our events and fundraising opportunities.

One of these Ambassadors is 9 year old Grace who got involved with It’s good 2 give when her little brother Harry was diagnosed with cancer.

She played a big role in our virtual events over the latest year and won our Joanna Lamb Young Volunteer of the Year Award in 2020.

Here, she tells us about her volunteering this month at Parent Ambassador Sylvia Wilson annual plant sale.

Grace:

"I offered to help at the plant sale to help raise funds for the charity, especially as we have just come back from the Ripple Retreat. It was brilliant putting on my Young Ambassador uniform and representing the charity.

I feel so proud that so much money was raised and we even got to meet Tabby in person as we’ve only met her on the Young Ambassador calls.

It was fun learning about all the plants and having lots of jobs to do. I’d do it again in a second.
