D. Campbell & Son butchers in Callander

At the Ripple Retreat, we always like to treat our families that stay there and give them the best possible experience and time together.

We also love to support local businesses.

In a series of blogs, we would like to introduce you to some of the businesses around the Ripple Retreat that help us maintain the property and grounds and add something special to family stays.

First on our list is D. Campbell and Son.

We have been working with them for some time to provide each family that stays at the Retreat a voucher for the butcher shop so they can have some tasty treats during their break.

D. Campbell and Son are a family business based in Callander that provide locally source quality meats to the local residents including home-made sausages, burgers, pies, haggis and BBQ packs. A big part of the community they have been offering free delivery of their products during lockdown.

On working with It’s Good 2 Give to give something to young cancer patients and their families, the butcher said:

“We are very proud to support such a good local cause and always enjoy talking to the families that visit the Ripple Retreat. We have had great feedback from many of the families over the last few years and look forward to doing so when things return to normal in the not too distant future.”
