Sanondaf - helping to make the Ripple Retreat safe for families

We are very grateful to Stuart White and the team at Sanondaf for all their help at our Ripple Retreat.

They have been working with us to make sure the retreat is disinfected and free from germs for families to use in the future.

Here’s Stuart, in his own words, to explain to us all a bit more about what his company does and how it’s vital in the world we are currently living in.

“Sanondaf are a specialist decontamination company, we use fogging or electrostatic spray devices to completely disinfect an entire area. This means that all surfaces, equipment and objects and the air flow within a room is made safe after a treatment has been applied. We launched in 2014 and we provide our services across all NHS Boards in central Scotland and all other sectors including Universities and Research.

It’s good 2 give contacted me to enquire about safety solutions for the Ripple Retreat and explained how the centre had been closed for most of 2020 due to the current Public Health emergency. Understanding the purpose of the retreat and the facilities it provides to families when they could be going through very difficult times meant we didn’t even have to think about it and offered our services to get the centre open as a one off gesture and then to provide a complete decontamination treatment for every new family who comes to stay so that they can have confidence and assurance they are in a safe environment.

What have I learned whilst being a supporter of It’s good 2 give?

The work that you do is incredible!

Having met Lynne and Ian on several occasions I can see that they work tirelessly to make sure that everything is ready and runs smooth for their families who will be using the Ripple Retreat. They are both so passionate about the retreat and everything they do and they are great role models for anybody who wants to consider giving something back.

This partnership has allowed Sanondaf to give something back and to be in the very privileged space of being part of the process in creating special memories for any families who come to stay at Ripple Retreat. Sanondaf have always enjoyed working with communities and giving back where we can and the majority of the time this is one of situations, this partnership allows us to build a long term relationship with It’s Good 2 Give and be involved in their future activities where we can.”
