Lockdown Help for Families

Lockdown has been a difficult time for all of us but especially for families living with cancer.

Many of the families we are currently helping have been unable to leave their homes since February.  Can you imagine how difficult that can be?

With shielding having become a way of life for whole families, it’s been difficult for parents to go out to work or to work from home with a family to look after.

For some of these families, simple everyday tasks such as shopping and picking up essentials has been impossible.

Over the last 5 months we have given over 100 families supermarket vouchers to assist them to do their shopping online or give them a little help so a friend or family member from another house could pick up their shopping and bring it to their door to make sure the whole family stay safe and well.

These vouchers add up to over £10,000 for families when they need it most, taking a little bit of pressure off when there is so many other worries for them.

Thank you for helping us to provide this service.
