Albacon is a Great Success

AlbaCon 2020 took place on the weekend of 3rd and 4th of October with It’s good 2 give as this year’s nominated charity.

The annual event is an online tabletop roleplaying game convention where people from all over the world play games like Dungeons & Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Alien RPG and many more. This year they had players taking part from across the UK and as far away as the USA. France and Sweden!

Supported by an incredible array of publishers from across the tabletop gaming industry, AlbaCon sold over 300 tickets for more than 70 events throughout the entire weekend.

Between ticket sales and direct donations, AlbaCon raised over £2900 for It’s good 2 give to date, with a number of donations still to come in.

Many thanks to all of the great companies, players and GMs who rolled their virtual dice for a whole weekend to support this fantastic event.

The money they have raised will help young cancer patients and their families across Scotland.
