It’s good 2 give provides practical support to young cancer patients and their families when they need it most.

One of the many things that we provide is the Fairy Box for the patients in the oncology ward at the Glasgow Children’s Hospital.

The Fairy Box is a box of brand new toys and gifts for young patients staying or getting treatment on the ward. These are given to the children to play with while they are receiving treatment to distract them from the pain and discomfort of what they are going through. They are also a way to cheer up the children on these difficult days in hospital.

Both parents and staff have said that these little treats make a huge difference to patients.

To help us continue this much appreciated initiative, this month we are launching our Fairy Box Appeal.
