Alan Lamb’s 100 Hole Golf Challenge
Many of our friends and supporters will know Alan Lamb and his family.
They are a massive part of the It’s good 2 give family. They sadly lost their daughter Joanna in 2019 to bone cancer.
For the last few years the Lamb family have held a fundraising golf day at Turnhouse Golf Club, for It’s good 2 give. The last 2 years in memory of his daughter and this year Alan is adding in an extra few rounds… ok maybe more!
Here he is to tell us about his plans.
Alan:
In memory of Joanna and our ongoing support for It’s good 2 give, I’ve decided to take on the challenge of playing 100 holes of golf in a day at Turnhouse Golf Club on Father’s Day this year, Sunday 20th June. The challenge will begin at 4am and will run until around 9.30pm and I’m delighted that Nicola will play the last 10 holes with me to finish the day.
You can support and motivate me during the challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page.I had also asked people to join me and play 9 holes of golf during the challenge by making a donation and now all slots are filled!
I really appreciate your support in memory of Jo and for this fantastic charity.
Subject to the Government COVID-19 guidelines at the time of Alan’s event, Turnhouse Golf Club will be open on the day serving food and refreshments so please, pop along to the club to show Alan your support, keep up to date with his progress and to join him for a drink to celebrate at the end!
All the proceeds raised on the day will help It’s good 2 give to continue our work supporting young people with cancer and their families throughout Scotland.
Thank you for all your support Alan!
